Being Honest with Children

Really, being honest with children, what a novel approach. I am always honest with the children when asking about anything. Yes abstinence only sex ed has failed and always will simply because prohibition in any form does not work.

History is filled with examples of this fact. It works even less with adolescents and children who's maturity level hasn't fully developed. However, teaching them the facts and also that their decisions have severe consequences will help them to make better decisions about their own sexuality.
Should sex educators teach kids about pleasure? - The Week
Abstinence-based sex ed has failed, argue some parents. It's high time we started being far more honest about the birds and the bees

Google Music Outside the US

Outside the US, no worries you can still use Google Music with you current music collection.
How-to: use Google Music from anywhere (yes, outside of the United States)
Now that Google Music has finally clawed its way out of the realm of beta-ware, anybody in the US can sign up to play without an invitation. Of course, that leaves many folks out of the equation, so we...

Conservatives have a mental disorder

Everyday on my way into work I see this bumper sticker on a truck. I however, would like to argue that the opposite is true.

Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

By this definition it can be argued that it's the Conservatives with the mental disorder because they have been trying the same economic policies for the last 40 years with the same horrible results and refuse to even entertain other policies.

Wall color

The clock in the middle is the reason for the wall color, inside that clock is a candle of a man and a woman in wedding dress. That was the candle we burned at our wedding and everything is left except the heads. The wife did a great job on the painting.

More stories of child abuse.

Once again the fundamentalists think they can push fairy tales on children without getting parents consent. I would keep my children home for the whole week, and lodge a complaint with both the schools and the school board.
